Anti-chip coating provides an added layer of protection for components exposed to stone chipping and road debris. Applied over the electrocoat primer and beneath the topcoat, it absorbs impact that would otherwise fracture the finish and expose bare metal to corrosion — making it ideal for rocker panels, sills, and lower-body and underbody components. Anti-chip powder application is performed on our coating lines at our Mount Clemens, Michigan facilities, fully integrated with our powder coating and electrocoating operations.
